Gorino Ferrarese is situated near Goro in the Ferrara Province within the Po Delta Park. The devolpment of this area has taken place thanks to the land drainage works that took place in the 50s in the Vallessina and Vallazza valleys.
Today Gorino is a lively town with a harbour. The local economy is closely linked to fishing and environmental tourism. At the end of May and every weekend in June Gorino Ferrarese Fish Festival is held here and is a must for every visitor.The Principessa motor cruiser leaves from Gorino Ferrarese for the river excursions within the Po Delra park. |
